The 150mm VB profile wheels are designed to cut and profile natural stone tile edges on standard 10" wet tile saws. They have 5/8" (16mm) or 1" (25.4mm) arbor. Vacuum brazed technology is superior to electroplate diamond wheels and are much more efficient and longer lasting. The vacuum brazed diamond profiler wheels are for: Granite, Marble, terrazzo, ceramic and soft stone tiles. The segmented metal bond profile wheels are designed to profile granite tiles at much faster speed with more aggressive cutting. They also double or triple the life than that of vacuum brazed wheels.
Two profiles are available R5 (5mm radius) and R10 (10mm radius). If you’re not sure which size to go for, a good rule of thumb is a radius of half the thickness of the material produces a nice balanced finish.
For example a 10mm/12mm/15mm thick stone looks better with an R5 finish.
15mm/20mm upwards can take an R10 finish.
